1. “My Time” Project - Amra Mekic
Michael Lilley
Self-esteem and confidence building of hard-to-reach learners and learners from new communities (BME and Central /Eastern Europe)
2. “Extra Time” Project – Judy Crabb
With roots in the “Teddy Bear” project this programme brings older and younger generations together through local reminiscence activities in individual football clubs, in particular Port Vale, Shrewsbury Town and AFC Telford.
3. “Factor Red” Project – Tina Jefferies
A new Herefordshire pilot project engaging young people not in education, employment or training (NEET) providing them with an unusual coaching and mentoring programme in personal motivation and development.
4. Rural WIDe Project
Learn from the Age Concern Volunteers themselves how they were trained in social research methodology, how they designed their questionnaires and how they undertook fieldwork in rural North Wales.
