Membership
ECA membership is divided into 4 catagories - Corporate, Affiliate, Partnership or Personal.
Corporate Membership:
For centres, organisations and groups where adult students have access to resources for learning, however these are funded and managed, e.g. adult colleges, community colleges and schools, local authority adult education services, FE colleges, community groups, voluntary groups, museums and galleries, university departments.
Affiliate Membership:
Generally for groups or organisations, statutory or voluntary, in sympathy with the ECA objectives, which contribute to the development of adult learning e.g. local / regional groups and organisations, Lifelong Learning Partnerships and CCET's, local branches of national organisations, national and international organisations.
Partnership Membership:
For groups of organisations which act together in the promotion and delivery of adult learning opportunities.
Personal Membership:
People in general sympathy with the objectives of the ECA. We particularly welcome the involvement of students and tutors in the work of the Association.
Membership Rates
Membership rates are as follows:
Corporate Membership
Centres and organisations with adult (post 19) student numbers
a) over 3,000 £200
b) between 1,000 and 2,999 £140
c) between 300 and 999 £70
d) below 300 £35
Affiliate Membership
All organisations and groups £70
Partnership Membership
All partnership members £200
Personal Membership
Fees must be paid from a private account
a)individual - full fee £22
b)individual in receipt of benefit £11
c)joint - two individuals at the same address £26
