The third edition of the Revolutions newsletter has by published by the Department of Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS). The publication features updates on the latest news from The Learning Revolution.
It includes articles on: -
- Unionlearn, who are supporting trade unions to set up and run learning centres to bring more informal adult learning opportunities to their members
- Pledge Ambassadors – could you become a Pledge Ambassador and work inside and outside your organisation to champion The Learning Revolution Pledge and help to open up spaces for self organised learning?
- The launch of the ‘Enhancing Informal Adult Learning for Older People in Care Settings’ materials. This publication gives practical advice and guidance for care managers, education providers and local authorities
- A project spotlight on ’Bookbite’ a Transformation Fund project developed by Booktrust, WRVS and UK online centres to inspire older people to use the web, read more and write their own stories
